Dick Robinson is Founder and President of The Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook. (in jazz circles, The Great American Songbook’s acronym is GAS). Dick created this 501 c(3) non-profit corporation to increase awareness, especially for children and young adults, of what he believes to be the greatest music ever recorded. Without keeping the legendary music in the forefront, little by little, it will slip away, never to be heard again. Dick’s way of keeping this music in the present is through
his radio and TV shows. He alone can do only so much for the future life
of this classic music. To date, his Extraordinary Honorary Board of Advisors includes:

Tony Bennett

Vic Damone

Connie Francis

Keely Smith

Jack Jones
